3. Moisture and rainproof. Although the shelves’ columns and beams are all metal products and have painted surfaces, they may rust over time after being exposed to moisture and sunlight, thus affecting their service life. 2. Don't over-width or over-size. This refers to the card size. The commonly used card specifications are between 0.8 meters and 1.2 meters in length and width. For example, the length of the beam of a heavy-duty beam shelf is generally 2.5 meters, which is designed according to the width of 2 pallets. If the pallet used is non-standard, or the size of the goods placed on it exceeds 1.2 meters, it may hit the column when placing or pulling the goods on the shelf.

3. Don't collide and deform. The most vulnerable parts of the storage shelves are the columns at the aisles and corners, which are usually deformed by forklift collisions. Shelf suppliers provide matching anti-collision columns and plastic rack protectors according to different shelves, aisle widths and transportation tools.
